RiskCom – practical major accident risk and process safety management

Houston, San Francisco, Denver

Although newly formed, RiskCom offers decades of experience in practical major accident risk and process safety management.

We focus our expertise on preventing accidents and protecting people by improvements to facility design and operations.

With the prospect of continuing low and uncertain oil prices we have structured the company to minimize overheads and thus offer rates that are typically 30% to 50% lower than our competition. Essentially, we want to help our clients be “fit for $50 oil”.

PwC describes Fit for $50 oil in their webcast: PwC Webcast “fit for fifty”

The founders have worked with nearly all the major energy companies, MODU owners/operators, and engineering contractors in all phases of a project lifecycle – from concept through to decommissioning. for example:

  • Offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities

  • Liquified natural gas (LNG) plants

  • Mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs)

  • Refining

  • Chemical plants

RiskCom Team Project Experience

We have been involved in many major hazard related projects dating back to Morris’s time in the “Post Piper Team” at Shell following the Piper Alpha disaster in 1988.  Piper Alpha Wikipedia
